**Day shift: Monday-Friday

Brand NEW Clinical Laboratory - Features daylight access, in an open concept lab space**In this role, the Technical Specialist (HLA) will oversee the daily operation of the HLA laboratory section to ensure the precision and reproducibility of laboratory test results in accordance with accreditation standards and guidelines.

Indepth knowledge Next Generation G enome Sequencing HLA Experience with waived, moderate, and high complexity testing in a "clinical" laboratory setting through education or work experience required

Collaborates with the medical director, manager and faculty in the development of new procedures or programs. Develops written procedures to maintain regulatory compliance and support new instrumentation and test methodologies. Works with the director to review and revise procedure manuals to ensure test accuracy and regulatory and accreditation requirements. Communicates changes in policies and procedures to appropriate medical center staff and/or clients.

Associate or Bachelor's Degree- Medical Laboratory Science Program
Specific Degree(s): Medical Technology/Technician or Medical Laboratory Science

Certified Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist, laboratory discipline specific or specialty certificate (ASCP or AMT)
