    Production Supervisor

    Hours: 1st Shift

    Manage the production execution and shipping/receiving to safely deliver quality products, on-time, while minimizing costs. Lead staff to achieve all safety, quality, productivity, customer service and cost targets. Responsible for production metrics and the continuous improvement to achieve measurable results.

    Responsibilities

    • Comply with and lead all requirements of policies and procedures as well as all federal and government regulations.
    • Plan, direct and coordinate production activities ensuring work assignments are accomplished and meet production and scheduling demands.
    • Address violations, document as required, communicate with and seek support from management team.
    • Maintain team communication to ensure daily production is accomplished and weekly planning is achieved.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to review production needs, goals and to seek resolution for issues. Engage staff to solve problems and identify ideas for improvement; utilize continuous improvement and lean manufacturing tools.
    • Conduct initial incident investigations, complete paperwork and issue notification to management team for all safety issues; support the investigation and corrective action process.
    • Maintain operations data and prepare reports, evaluate production metric results.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve downtime issues; issue work orders for equipment malfunctions or repairs.
    • Analyze production data to determine opportunities for improvement, root cause, and capabilities to meet new opportunities.

    Qualifications

    • 2-4 year educational degree, or equivalent experience
    • 2 years manufacturing supervision experience with production floor experience
    • Knowledge and application of lean tools, statistical tools, root cause analysis, failure mode & effect analysis
    • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite
