    Position Overview

    Job Title: Production Supervisor

    Locations: Chicago, IL and Naperville, IL

    Status: Full-time

    Overtime: As Required

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Supervision: Oversee and lead production teams, ensuring adherence to production schedules and maintaining high-quality standards.
    2. Maintenance Excellence: Implement and uphold Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
    3. Process Optimization: Utilize LEAN Six Sigma principles to identify and eliminate process inefficiencies and waste, enhancing productivity.
    4. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to guarantee the availability of materials and supplies for production.
    5. Team Development: Train, mentor, and motivate production staff to meet performance targets and safety standards.
    6. Data Management: Utilize SAP or similar software to record and track production data, including yields and downtime.
    7. Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives in all areas.
    8. Safety Compliance: Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
    9. Production Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of production plans and strategies.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
    • 3+ years of relevant experience in a production supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
    • Proven experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and LEAN Six Sigma methodologies.
    • Strong proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
    • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
    • Effective problem-solving capabilities with great attention to detail.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Flexibility to work overtime as required.
