Role Purpose Statement:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at LSG Sky Chefs.

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily operations in our production area, ensuring the efficient and timely preparation of high-quality meals that meet our stringent standards and customer specifications.

This role involves managing a team of production staff, maintaining compliance with food safety regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.


Main Accountabilities:


  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of production workers, ensuring high levels of motivation, productivity, and morale.
  • Oversee daily production activities, including meal preparation, assembly, and packaging to meet established standards and schedules.
  • Ensure all products meet quality, taste, and presentation standards through regular inspections and adherence to recipes and specifications.
  • Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular safety audits and addressing any noncompliance issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall production performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of production metrics, staff attendance, and equipment maintenance, generating reports as needed for management review.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as logistics, quality assurance, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in food science, business management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 35 years of supervisory experience in a food production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities.
  • Indepth understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, FDA, etc.) and best practices in a production environment.
  • Proficiency with production management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperature conditions.
