    Position: Event Management Manager

    Location: New York City, NY

    Company: A cutting-edge interactive museum at the forefront of technology and innovation.

    Role Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced Event Management Manager who has a proven track record in managing large-scale events for diverse audiences, with extensive experience in cultivating relationships with major clients across various industries including fashion, technology, finance, sports, and more.

    Responsibilities:
    1. Strategic Event Planning: Lead the strategic planning and execution of all events hosted by Museum, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Develop innovative event concepts that leverage the museum's cutting-edge technology and interactive exhibits.
    2. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with major clients in industries such as fashion, technology, finance, sports, and entertainment. Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, proposals, and contract negotiations.
    3. End-to-End Event Management: Oversee all aspects of event management, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, staffing, and on-site coordination. Ensure seamless execution of events while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
    4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, operations, exhibits, and guest services to ensure alignment and coordination for successful event delivery. Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate communication and streamline processes.
    5. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders including sponsors, partners, VIP guests, and media to enhance the overall event experience and maximize exposure for Museum. Identify opportunities for collaboration and sponsorship to drive revenue and brand visibility.
    6. Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with event planning and execution, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and ensure continuity of operations.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or related field.
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in event management, preferably in a leadership role.
    • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale events for diverse audiences.
    • Strong network of contacts within the fashion, technology, finance, sports, and entertainment industries.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
    • Proficiency in event management software and tools for budgeting, scheduling, and project management.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
