The National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL) harvests innovative technology from the commercial and non-defense marketplace, ensuring the development of better, cheaper, and faster defense capabilities.
We offer a unique and simplified approach to rapidly develop, demonstrate, and assess prototypes that address a range of operational and installation needs, from individual Warfighter technology up to large-scale installation projects.
NSTXL delivers technology to the Warfighter by serving as a one-stop shop to match government requirements with innovative private-sector and academic solutions.
Each of our OTAs is a distinct member-based not-for-profit with its own membership that is managed and serviced by NSTXL.
For these members, NSTXL offers opportunities to bid on government contracts, education and training, and live/virtual forums on a wide variety of topics.
Job Description
The Brand Manager is responsible for the creating and managing NSTXL's brand story and experience through compelling content and conversion-based strategy.
You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to enhance the overall image and recognition of our primary and owned brands.
This role will be responsible for ensuring that the brand remains cohesive, resonates with the target audience, and aligns with the company's objectives.
This position requires a combination of creative thinking, strategic planning, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to strengthen brand presence, conducting market research to understand consumer trends, competitor activities, and industry dynamics to inform brand strategy.
Support Directors and Customers, collaborate with internal and external partners, to execute brand initiatives such as advertising agencies and vendors.
Manage and mentor the Creative team.Track and evaluate brand performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to the leadership team.
Create and oversee the creation of content designed to raise target market awareness: videos, press, website, blogs, guides, customer stories, landing pages, market emails, social, etc.
Develop comprehensive brand positioning strategies and toolkits for products and services, creating and optimizing new campaigns to support awareness of offerings and internal knowledge of services.
Manage Editorial Calendar across all owned channels including blog, websites, social media, YouTube, and print media.Own website content, updates, and experience, implementing SEO best practices and identifying opportunities to increase new visitor traffic.
Optimize NSTXL and other owned websites for conversions, creating new website pages and campaigns to support conversion goals.
Ensure that anything leaving the marketing department, both self-generated and created by others, fully adheres to all brand standards.
Work w/ Program and Event Teams for Creative strategy and execution for program collateral, PowerPoint, content development.
Manage assigned budget while making recommendations to best optimize spend to accomplish goal.

Basic Qualifications
US citizen and ability to get security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in brand, content, or digital marketing.
2+ years experience managing a team of 2 or more
Preferred Skills/Experience
Ability to both create content and build a comprehensive content strategy.
Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills to successfully coordinate multiple programs and adapt to unexpected requests.
Team player with a passion for creating moving, story-driven content that converts.
Understanding of new media, traditional media, and emerging media with experience working across multiple mediums and channels.
Enthusiasm for our mission and vision
Knowledge of marketing automation, CRM and CMS, such as HubSpot or Sprout
Understanding of social media platforms, from a creative and operational perspective
Experience Adobe Design Suite and with Canva
Deep understanding of SEO and how to optimize digital content.
Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
Must have excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Travel:
Travel for this position is estimated at 20%
