    **What You'll Do as a Service Manager:**

    Be a champion of saftey, ensuring all work is conducted in a safe manner

    Strive to be the only service department our customers want to do business with

    Ensure communication with customers is accurate, timely, and realistic

    Develop and act on plans for acquiring new and additional customer service

    Maintain departmental goals and objectives including employee productivity, cost control, and revenue

    Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training of all service department employees

    Consult daily with direct reports to ensure company policies and procedures are followed

    Observe service personnel and provide coaching to develop team members

    Manage the Work Order prrocess from opening to invoicing

    **What You'll Need as a Service Manager:**

    Diesel, Technical, or College degree preferred

    5+ years in heavy, industrial, or over the road equipment industry

    Strong working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions

    Excellent employee management/relations skills

    Ability to prioritize tasks
