    Summary of Position

    The Sr. Manager, Partner Marketing, maximizes Starz Entertainment subscribers and revenue through implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy across distribution partners. In this role, the Sr. Manager will achieve goals established by Business Planning and Account Management teams through partnership marketing campaigns. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills, as well as the ability to analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make innovative recommendations leading to increased revenue and subscribers. The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to take full ownership for the execution of assigned projects, working both independently and with a team. The role is client-facing and requires excellent communication with both internal and external stakeholders and a diligence in executing multiple priorities. A sense of ownership, collaboration and intensity are critical.

    Responsibilities
    • Work closely with Executive Director to develop overall content and product marketing strategies and assets to meet business and partner goals including BAU as well as account and franchise-specific assets globally
    • Collaborate with Account Management and client marketing teams to proactively identify and execute opportunities to drive subscriptions/revenue both on- and off-platform and at point of sale
    • Develop and manage base spot creative with the brand team to drive partner subscriber and revenue goals
    • Collaborate with media team to optimize media spend, develop media strategy, review on- and off-platform media buys
    • Maintain constant awareness of the direction and manage status of all projects, including anticipating needs and resolving unexpected conflicts
    • Manage on-platform content curation for linear partners in collaboration with internal stakeholders
    • Understand specific partners' marketing ecosystems and secure optimal placement for STARZ in partner marketing tactics in alignment with overall marketing strategy
    • Understand opportunities for existing and emerging streaming platforms such as Xumo
    • Maintain ongoing communication with client marketing contacts through weekly/monthly meetings and participate in larger business reviews with Account teams
    • Manage relationships with partner sales channels to drive incremental sales through motivational incentive programs and effective marketing and training collateral
    • Monitor and analyze marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvements
    • Assist in managing contractual marketing funds and provide guidance and recommendations for marketing campaigns in alignment with overall marketing strategy
    • Work across internal STARZ departments to socialize partner activity and advocate for partner needs
    • Supervise, develop, and mentor direct reports in line with the company's values
    Qualifications and Skills
    • 6+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 2+ years experience in a client-facing role
    • High attention to detail
    • Account service oriented - high level of responsiveness is expected. Strong relationship building and maintaining skill set required
    • Understand Industry/competitive environment and be knowledgeable of distribution goals and product packaging
    • Proficiency to be strategic, manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
    • Proven communication skills - oral, written and presentation
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and experienced in Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Comfortable learning proprietary software solutions.
    • Ability to travel for client meetings (up to 25%)
    Nice to Haves
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred
    • Experience in cable, satellite, telecommunications or entertainment industry a plus

    Compensation

    $100,000-$110,000
