    Description

    The Director of Sponsorships will lead our efforts in securing and managing sponsorships that support the organization's goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and a strong network in relevant industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sponsorship strategies, cultivating relationships with potential sponsors, and ensuring that all partnerships deliver mutual value.

    ### Key Responsibilities:

    **Strategy Development**: Design and implement a comprehensive sponsorship strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives and financial goals.

    **Sponsorship Acquisition**: Identify potential sponsors, develop proposals, and negotiate sponsorship agreements to maximize value for both parties.

    **Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors through regular communication, ensuring their needs are met and exploring opportunities for future collaboration.

    **Cross-functional Coordination**: Work closely with marketing, events, and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of sponsorship activities into broader organizational plans.

    **Performance Measurement**: Track, analyze, and report on sponsorship results against key performance indicators to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies.

    **Team Leadership**: Lead and mentor a team of sponsorship professionals, fostering an environment of collaboration and professional growth.

    ### Required Skills and Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

    At least 5-7 years of experience in sponsorship, sales, or a closely related field, with proven success in developing and securing major sponsorships.

    Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing priorities.

    Strong understanding of market dynamics and marketing strategies.

    High proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience in the specific industry of the organization.

    Established a network of contacts within relevant sectors.

    Experience in managing large-scale sponsorship campaigns.

    ### Work Environment:

    This role typically works in an office setting but may require travel to meet with sponsors or attend events.
