We are looking to hire a Director for our Right of Way Department.

Education/Required Experience

A minimum of ten (10) years of active Right of Way experience (appraising, negotiations, relocations, or legal).
Extensive experience in providing right of way services for VDOT desired.
Ability to manage and develop a professional Right of Way staff.
Ability to manage project and section schedules, budgets, and personnel.
A thorough understanding of the VDOT Right of Way process and the laws and regulations governing it.
Ability to deal and communicate effectively with the client, the public, and elected officials.
Ability to meet with potential clients and market the services offered by RDA.
Excellent communication skills as well as public speaking abilities and adeptness in a variety of social/business situations.
