    CARESTL HEALTH is a Non for Profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving St. Louis communities and school-based operations.


    Position Summary:

    The Administrative Assistant will support the Medical Administrator (s) in performing complex administrative activities that require independent initiative and excellent judgment. This position is highly visible and requires a consummate professional demeanor and working with high-level executives.


    Essential Functions:

    • Provides a variety of administrative duties including taking minutes, preparing expense reports; processing incoming and outgoing mail; organizing and maintaining files on all projects; researching, complying with, and analyzing data; coordinating travel arrangements and maintaining itineraries; preparing correspondences, reports, agendas, and track deliverables.
    • Acts as liaison with all internal and external clients/departments, including members of the board of directors and senior leadership.
    • Handles incoming phone calls, correspondence, and emails, identifying critical items for action. Quickly prioritizes and initiates preliminary material needed by each executive.
    • Interacts well and coordinates efforts with senior leadership; is discreet and understands the personnel, organizational, and legal impacts of the information they handle.
    • Assist with meeting and off-site events including catering orders & dinners.

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Associate Degree preferred

    Requirements:

    A minimum of 3-5 years' experience is required based on degree level.


    Additional Information:

    • Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • 11 paid holidays per year.
