    Job Description and Duties

    The Personnel Services Branch (PSB) provides human resources support to all CDFW employees.

    PSB staff are responsible for performing tasks associated with appointments, benefits, separations, payroll, and leave accounting in compliance with California labor laws and regulations, bargaining unit contracts, departmental policies and procedures, and control agency directives.

    PSB is looking for a Transactions Compliance and Admin.

    Analyst This position will perform compliance related activities in support of Payroll and Personnel Units and the Benefits and Disability Unit.

    Duties include generating MIRS reports, auditing work completed by Personnel Specialists, and reviewing and identifiying discrepancies on audit reports.

    Additionally, this position is responsible for various administrative functions such as maintaining HR contracts, serving as the facilities liaison, and assisting with the on-boarding and off-boarding of staff in the Personnel Services Branch.

    Working Conditions

    The incumbent works 40 hours per week in an office setting, with artificial light and temperature control. The ability to use a personal computer and telephone is essential. The position requires bending and stooping to retrieve files; walking; occasional light lifting, up to lbs. Occasional travel may be required.


    This position is designated as remote-centered and the incumbent will telework an average of three days per week and report to the office two days per week.

    Additional office days will be required periodically for training and team building events.
