Under general direction of the Staff Services Manager II, Classification and Selection (C&S) Unit, the Associate Personnel Analyst performs a wide range of complex classification and selection assignments for the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).

This includes developing and delivering C&S training for staff, including supervisors and managers.

In addition to performing a variety of analytical assignments on classification and selection activities and providing consultative services to assigned division hiring managers or their designees.

Working Conditions

The incumbent works in an air conditioned, low-rise office building with natural and artificial lighting. In addition, the incumbent works in a cubicle in close proximity to others. The building is located at 2180 Harvard Street, Sacramento, CA 95815 and there is free parking.
