Under general direction of the Staff Services Manager II, Classification and Selection (C&S) Unit, the Associate Personnel Analyst performs a wide range of complex classification and selection assignments for the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).
This includes developing and delivering C&S training for staff, including supervisors and managers.In addition to performing a variety of analytical assignments on classification and selection activities and providing consultative services to assigned division hiring managers or their designees.

The incumbent works in an air conditioned, low-rise office building with natural and artificial lighting. In addition, the incumbent works in a cubicle in close proximity to others. The building is located at 2180 Harvard Street, Sacramento, CA 95815 and there is free parking.
