Working Conditions

  • This position is eligible for remoteworking within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need. FTB has a minimum inoffice requirement of two days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework.

Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge of recruitment and hiring practices and HR policies, laws, and/or regulations related to recruiting and hiring

  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team while demonstrating initiative, integrity, ownership, and accountability
  • Experience developing training materials and delivering training presentations or classes
  • Experience using the State of California's Policy Management Liaison (PML) Memos, Selection Manual, Government Codes, Personnel Management Policy and Procedures Manual (PMPPM), and other various state laws, rules, and regulations as they relate to classification and hiring
  • Ability to multitask and shift priorities and workloads to meet operational needs
  • Professional classification and hiring experience, or professional Personnel/Human Resources experience
