    Created: May 7th 2021 **Forward Planning Assistant Manager**

    Full-time employee Irvine, CA

    This position will provide support to the project management team and to the department manager to meet the Divisions business plan. The position will be responsible for coordinating and processing engineering and building permits along with various other duties that support project schedules, budgets, and community close outs

    Coordinate with consultants and engineers to ensure timely and compliant plan submittals.

    Assist with permit applications and pulling engineering and building permits.

    Coordinate submittals and payments to Agencies and deliveries to project communities.

    Assist with obtaining permit and occupancy clearances.

    Sit on HOA board meetings monthly or quarterly.

    Assist with due diligence and feasibility of new projects, including contributing to consultant and fee budgets.

    Oversee Conditions of Approval compliance.

    Assist with project budget & schedule maintenance.

    Assist department manager with special projects, including land disposition.

    Track new community set-ups, project reimbursements, utility information, HOA turnover, bond exoneration.

    College graduate, with degree in engineering, architecture, and construction or planning preferred.

    At least 2 years of experience in residential homebuilding construction and/or development with knowledge of permit processing and project management support.
