- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- General administrative support to Human Resources and other departments as needed.
- Transmit information or documents to employees.
- Plan, setup, and make accommodations for on-site visitors.
- File, retrieve, and maintain records, documents, and reports.
- Attend meetings to record minutes.
- New hire onboarding and orientation.
- Make travel arrangements for traveling employees and candidates'
- and apply knowledge of current Human Resources and Safety policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
- Arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for staff members.
- Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors.
- Monitor and record training activities and program effectiveness.
- Assist in training sessions for emergency preparedness, confined spaces, electrical safety, machine guarding, fall protection, and forklift safety.
- Maintain contingency plans; including fire prevention, severe weather awareness, and emergency procedures.
- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant, or relevant human resources/administrative position.
- Familiarity with HR software and databases.
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
