    System One has partnered with a well established organization spanning multiple states in their search for a Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join their team of highly skilled individuals. The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support by successfully performing clerical functions, maintaining database information, and supporting reception as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist new employees with onboarding orientation.
    • Coordinate ongoing technical training; specifically safety and on-the-job training.
    • File, retrieve, and maintain records, documents, and reports while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information is maintained.
    • Provide general administrative support to HR and other departments as needed.
    • Plan, set up, and make accommodations for on-site visitors.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements for traveling employees and/or candidates.
    • Attend meetings to record minutes.
    • Comply with all HR and Safety policies, practices, and procedures, reporting all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or safety personnel.
    • Monitor and record training activities and program effectiveness.
    • Interview contractors and employees to gather information about work environments and workplace incidents.
    • Assist in training sessions for emergency preparedness and other critical situations.
    • Maintain contingency plans for fire ventilation, severe weather awareness, etc.
    • Maintain data base of Safety Data Sheets, ensuring they are accessible at all times according to regulations.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Requirements:
    • Minimum of 2 years of related HR and/or administrative experience. OSHA training is strongly preferred.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Proficiency using computers, general office equipment, multiline phone, binding and laminating tools.
