    The Mary Campbell Center is first; last, and always home to 68 residents. The Technology Manager is responsible for providing technology support to The Center to advance its goal of achieving a truly homelike environment in which MCC residents live with respect, personal dignity, and independence to the fullness of their abilities. The Technology Manager is responsible for the secure and efficient operation of The Mary Campbell Center information systems property, including network infrastructure, hardware, software, and data. Technology Manager is charged with championing The Mary Campbell Center's Guiding Principles and mission and must be a positive role model who works effectively, efficiently, and with respect for residents, staff, families, volunteers, professional consultants, and the physical environment of The Center.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    The IT Director at the Mary Campbell Center must 1) be a good person of high character who demonstrates compassion and understanding, consistently works with a positive attitude, 2) 10 years experience in a technology-related field (Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology related field preferred); 3) be proficient in network and PC operating platforms, systems and various stand-alone and networked computer applications; 4) have the ability to prioritize IT needs relative to MCC operations; 5) have the ability to maintain confidentially in matters sensitive to the operations of the Center; 6) be able to work independently with little supervision and handle multiple tasks simultaneously; 7) exhibit excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills; 8) interact in a professional manner with residents, staff, consultants, vendors, and family members; and 9) work a flexible schedule to meet the IT needs of the Center.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Provides direct oversight, management and security of the information, communication and data systems of the Mary Campbell Center:

    1. Responsible for the IT budget and planning the capital expense budget year over year to include upgrades that are needed.
    2. Decision maker on the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions at The Mary Campbell Center. This includes coordinating the IT operations to meet requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions.
    3. Responsible for the oversight of the MCC Server(s) and associated hardware and software through the use of our MSP. Ensures continuous daily operation. Surveys system daily for proper operation and security and intervenes as necessary. Maintains vendor contracts for the operations staff.
    4. Negotiates on behalf of the Center.
    5. Directs liaison duties of staff between users, operations, and outside contractors in the areas of systems design, modifications or trouble shooting.
    6. Makes recommendations and intervention (s) to staff in order to resolve disruption and/or performance failure in systems equipment, software, or infrastructure:
    7. Meets with our MSP routinely to discuss the security and integrity of the MCC network and infrastructure and creates interventions as necessary to maintain a healthy and secure network landscape.
    8. Directs and leads team with regard to the configuration, implementation, troubleshooting, and monitoring of Voice-Over IP phone system.
    9. Performs routine inspection of technology systems throughout the Center.
    10. Oversees department that Maintains, monitors, and troubleshooting of Office 365; Azure Active directory; and Windows Active Directory, as well as other Mary Campbell Center owned software and/or business applications.
    11. Implements, builds, and supports the various communication tools utilized throughout the Center
    12. Maintains, monitors, and troubleshooting of all networks that The Center deploys
      • Resident/Guest wireless network
      • Nurse Call Network
      • Corporate Network
      • Security camera network, its supporting programs, and Badging system
      • Relias assistance
    13. Identification, Coordination, Implementation of Projects as assigned (project management)
    14. Collaborate with residents & staff in the purchasing of appropriate technology equipment for residents

    Maintains an up-to-date knowledge and assessment of infrastructure systems, equipment and uses his knowledge to replace or upgrade items in a planned manner:

    1. Makes recommendations for repair/replacement of aging units.
    2. Ensures that all printers, copiers and fax machines are operational.
    3. EMR network and devices. Intervenes as necessary to ensure consistent operation.
    4. Coordinates meetings with vendors and/or site visits as requested.
    5. Works cooperatively with staff to identify IT and/or system problems and offer solutions.
    6. Responsible for organization of the installation of new equipment and the training of users where necessary.
    7. Maintains an established and accountable system to identify all reported problems needing intervention.
    8. Actively participates in new alternatives or equipment discussions as technology advances.
    9. Makes recommendations for the acquisition of IT equipment/materials and/or more efficient practices.
    10. Coordination and development of electronic documentation enhancement.
    11. Builds, designs, and/or implements staff programs and access to systems related to the Mary Campbell Center's owned or hosted systems.
    12. Intervenes and establishes security programs for staff and residents to ensure compliance with protocols and evaluation of policy errors/violations
