Key Responsibilities:


  • Process and maintain NGP database of campaign contributions, inkind donations, disbursements, and refunds
  • Work closely with the Compliance and Vetting teams at the DNC to ensure compliance with internal policies and joint fundraising parameters
  • Assist the FEC reporting team with data integrity and cleanup leading up to FEC reporting deadlines
  • Liaise with the Finance team to accurately process and record Major Donor contributions
  • Monitor donations from organizations such as PACs, partnerships, sole proprietorships, committees, and other entities in keeping with FEC regulations
  • Confirm permissibility of contributions from donors with foreign addresses, unregistered committees, and others
  • Manage compliance related correspondence including best efforts and safe harbor letters
  • Conduct independent research and provide succinct reports
  • Oversee additional projects at the discretion of the Deputy COO
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience working with political or nonprofit organizations required
  • Knowledge of campaign finance rules and FEC reporting regulations required
  • Experience with using the compliance database software, NGP, required
  • Excellent data management skills; Google Sheets experience, including proven ability to create functions and reports
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a detailoriented manner
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
  • Ability to handle projects with the appropriate level of discretion and confidentiality
  • A team player that recognizes the importance of working collaboratively
  • Ability to work well under pressure with humor and grace
