Overview:

The DNC is seeking a Program Development Director.

The director will lead a team of program development managers to develop campaign programs for battleground states, aligning with overarching campaign strategies.

We are looking for folks with a variety of backgrounds and experience, and are dedicated to building a team that looks like America.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage the development of campaign programs for battleground states, aligning with overarching campaign strategies.
  • Lead a team of managers and associates to create and implement detailed program plans.
  • Facilitate collaboration with the Program Content team, Battleground States departments, and other HQ departments to develop programs, processes, and materials in tandem.
  • Act as project manager for all program plans and associated projects.

  • Experience managing a high performing team.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Experience working across multiple teams and gathering meaningful input.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a detailoriented manner.
  • Ability to handle projects with the appropriate level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with humor and grace.
  • A team player that recognizes the importance of working collaboratively.

Additional Useful Skills & Qualifications:


  • Prior experience working in field/organizing.
  • Prior experience on a political campaign.
The salary for this position is $120,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience.

This is a cycle hire position with an end date of November, 15, 202- Democratic National Committee requires all employees to be "up to date" on COVID-19 vaccination status as prescribed by the CDC as a condition of employment, unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law.
