One North is in search of a Marketing Manager to join our dynamic Marketing team.
Reporting to our Director of Marketing, you will lead and participate in collaborative efforts with several cross-functional teams to conceptualize, produce, and execute content, events and webinars, digital strategy, and sales enablement efforts.
Additionally, the Marketing Manager will oversee the relationship with One North's social PR agency.
The ideal candidate has a strong grounding in content and a passion for writing and producing marketing and sales materials and thought leadership.
This position is required to be onsite 2 days per week at our downtown Chicago office.
Responsibilities
Create compelling and engaging content—including website copy, blog posts, case studies, sales enablement materials, articles, social media, research reports, white papers, and webinars/presentations—across multiple platforms, and manage the content creation process.
Assist with the execution of successful tradeshows, roadshows, sponsorships, and other thought leadership events, including One North's annual client event, The Assembly.
Collaborate with speakers on webinar or event/tradeshow presentations.
Partner with the sales team to understand sales-enablement content needs. Keep sales-enablement website updated with the most recent content.
Develop strong relationships with internal subject matter experts, and collaborate with them to create content on various topics.
Work closely with designers, motion graphics artists, and other stakeholders to ensure the compelling delivery of final marketing assets.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics—such as website traffic, engagement rates, and conversions as well as sales activity, opportunities, and won revenue—and make data-driven recommendations for future marketing and content efforts.
Research industry trends, market insights, and competitor analysis to inform content development and identify opportunities.
Keep informed of industry best practices, emerging trends, and evolving marketing formats to enhance future content marketing initiatives.
Oversee ongoing website development efforts.
Skills & Qualifications
3 or more years of professional marketing or content marketing experience
BA/BS in Marketing or Journalism, or combination of experience and education in related area
Great at telling a story using words, images, or audio and understands how to create content, digital experiences, and marketing materials that draw an audience
MUST be self-motivated and proactive—with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment—while managing complex marketing programs
Works seamlessly across teams and disciplines
Has a clear understanding of the business goal behind marketing programs
Strong communication and project management skills a MUST, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to "manage up" and keep executives informed of marketing efforts
Works well under pressure and diffuses challenging situations
Diplomatic and tactful, using a clear, courteous professional manner when dealing with both internal and external customers
Adapts to change easily and can handle multiple projects
Detail oriented a MUST
HubSpot and WordPress knowledge a plus
