    Description
    Position Summary
    The Director of Human Resources provides leadership and guidance to Sprinkles HR operations.

    The Director is responsible for building relationships within our Home Office and Operations teams as well as setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.

    Responsibilities:


    Manage HR team to ensure compliance of up-to-date HR issues and legislation (federal, state, and local) that have potential impact on the business.

    Work directly with Operations and Department leaders to provide leadership and guidance in personnel matters.

    Manage current, up-to-date employee handbook and policy agreements.

    Process Payroll as well as quarterly and annual payroll filings.

    Competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.

    Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.

    Strategic guidance on talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, leadership development, and employee engagement.

    Develop annual HR budget.

    Manage recruitment by ensuring end to end recruiting processes and systems are seamless and productive.

    Oversee Risk Management including Employment & Workers Compensation claim management.

    Oversight of Insurance Brokers (Medical & Property & Casual).

    End to end management of all company Benefits including selection, execution and annual enrollment.

    Manage Worker's Compensation claims, return to work processes and support managers with state requirements.

    Effectively communicate HR strategies, initiatives, and updates to all levels of the organization.

    Other duties as assigned.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's preferred.

    SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.


    5-7 years human resources experience in a multi-unit, multi-state hospitality environment required, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred.

    Proven track record of successfully developing and executing comprehensive people strategies that drive organizational success.

    Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, along with experience ensuring HR compliance.

    Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organization.

    Demonstrated experience in fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

    Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable HR plans.

    Outstanding leadership and team management skills.

    High level of emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.

    Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

    Occasional travel required.

    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
