Position purpose:


Provide human resources expertise in the areas of employee relations, policy and procedure interpretation, recruitment, and personnel coaching in support company policies.

Act as a strategic business partner to support Austin Gastroenterology office personnel. Proactively identifies areas of concern, and coordinates solutions.


Responsibilities:


  • This position is one of autonomy and the incumbent will be required to periodically travel between the Austin Gastroenterology offices.
  • Managing employee relations at office sites.
  • Conducting internal investigations as needed.
  • Conducting new hire orientations for the region.
  • Providing HR training as needed.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Handle employee grievances and investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Collaborate with leadership to create a positive and engaging work culture.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
This is a full time role working Monday through Friday with schedule flexibility.

Our office is located at Hwy 183 & Burnet however the person in the role will be able to partially work remote once fully trained.

This role reports directly to the Director of HR.
