    Primary Responsibilities

    Analyze data to look for opportunities within key business measures to determine future business growth opportunitiesDevelop positive, long term supplier relations to enhance the reputation of Columbia Distributing and support future business growthWork with individual non-core suppliers to achieve mutual business targets, coordinate specialized marketing programs, manage marketing budgets and confirm all partners understand profit and volume strategiesDisseminate key business information across all Sales Teams, trade channels and product groupsMonitor external and internal tactical pricing programs and initiate/suggest changes to ensure category competitivenessWork with the pricing analyst manager to ensure accuracy of new items and beer pricing posted correctly from our suppliers within the guidelines of the WSLCBCoordinate the publication of the monthly price booksManage reporting for all sales, revenue, distribution, and other key business measurement needs of the senior sales management team and suppliersPartner with senior leadership to create, publish, and track all monthly incentivesManage supplier incentive bill-back process to ensure bill-backs occur within 30 days of incentive endPartner with senior management, human resources and suppliers to create an annual sales training calendar to enhance the development of our peopleFacilitate communication with Young's Columbia regarding combo sales routesResponsible for developing and managing the daily activities of the sales coordinatorSet the agenda and facilitate the weekly CDC senior sales management staff meetingManage special projects to enhance department effectivenessDevelop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and others you come into contact with through your jobKey Competencies

    Solid knowledge of the beverage alcohol three-tier system, including complianceStrong leadership and collaboration skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsEffective organizational and time management skillsStrong analytical and project management skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office suitePeople Management

    Work Environment

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and sit. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

    Physical Demands

    Bend/stoop/crouch/squat/use arms/wrists/hands/graspUse of industry tools:

    This is a full-time position, days and hours of work vary and may include weekends.

    Travel

    Ability to travel throughout the day for visits to customer accounts.

    Required Education and Experience

    High School diploma or GED requiredValid driver's license and auto insurance required position is subject to Fleet Safety PolicyMinimum of 18 years of agePreferred Education and Experience

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of related experienceSupplier or brewery experience
