Responsibilities:


  • Strategic HR Planning
  • Assist HR leadership in the development of a talent management plan aligned with business objectives that prepares for every stage of the employee journey.
  • Leads and/or coordinates recruiting efforts at all locations:
  • Implements, improves, and manages Praxis's Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • With Human Resources Leadership, develop effective recruitment plans for identified positions or business groups to improve retention, career development plans, and build bench strength.
  • Partners with supervisors and managers on identifying hiring needs and higherpriority job openings.
  • Evaluates and introduces screening tools, such as personality indexes or other predictive instruments, to enhance Praxis's qualityhire efforts.
  • Oversee Company's recruitment referral program
  • Builds and maintains a positive employment brand via social media, school and university relations, community events, and other pipelines or partnerships.
  • Supervisors Praxis Recruiters.
  • Establishes, generates, and provides reports on key recruitment metrics.
  • Collaborates with the company's temporary staffing partner, ensuring staffing needs are met. Gather feedback and review performance metrics to increase quality placements and conversions.
  • Manages a robust standardized Onboarding Program that offers new hires an exceptional experience, creating a strong connection to Praxis and helps set them up for success in their new roles.
  • Employee Retention
  • Creates and implements retention tools and strategies that proactively keep our employees engaged and retained.
  • Lead and coordinate Learning and Career Development efforts.
  • Assist departments in "reskilling" efforts and helping to create career paths to develop employees.
  • Develop training materials (e.g. templates, presentations, visuals) and manage training content via Praxis's Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Plan and conduct training or training events, as necessary
  • Explore and lead options to obtain Training Grants or other initiatives to pay for training costs.
  • Establishes, generates, and provides reports on key development metrics.
  • Coordinate Talent Management functions to ensure alignment
  • Involved in coordinating information and aligning development plans discussed in Talent Reviews and during Performance Reviews.
  • Have thorough knowledge of Praxis benefits and workplace programs to help attract and retain talent.
  • Reviews org charts, job descriptions and pay ranges with Human Resources leadership to ensure accuracy.
  • Promote companywide diversity initiatives through strategic hiring and employee development.
  • Assist the Human Resources Team with any and all departmental activities, as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of talent management, recruiting, and/or human resources administration at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business or equivalent. Master's degree in HR or related is a plus
  • 57 years of comprehensive
    talent management or recruiting experience required, preferably in in a medium to large, fastpaced, manufacturing, or industrial operation with a diverse workforce.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certifications are a plus.
  • Superior people skills, including the demonstrated ability to navigate complex people issues and conflicts.
  • Ability to coach, develop and direct the daytoday activities of others.
  • Supervision experience preferred
  • Experience working various levels of employees with different educational backgrounds, work style habits, and employment histories.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook, preferred
  • Strong knowledge of iCIMS (ATS), Indeed, Zip Recruiter, LinkedIn Recruiter preferred
  • Working knowledge of ADP or HRIS related software, preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present training topics to small or medium sized groups
  • Fluent in the English language required, bilingual fluency in a second language: Spanish, Vietnamese, Swahili, or Kinyarwanda is strongly preferred.
