    Mission

    You are the focal point for industrial and quality topics towards the supplier and internal organization, ensuring proper equipment manufacturing (Configuration, Conformity, Capacity).

    You will acquire an in-depth knowledge of the equipment / supplier to enable effective control of the manufacturing processes and quality controls, and will coordinate the interfaces of all the stakeholders involved in the supplier management (procurement, technical, quality, material & processes).

    You will be in charge of developing the supplier, reviewing industrial maturity and readiness for high volume production:

    • Assess risks/opportunities through regular audit
    • Drive mitigation/improvement plans with all stakeholders (supplier and internal)
    • Continuous follow up of the supplier

    Role Conditions:

    • Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 based upon relevant experience.
    • Location: Merritt Island, FL / 3 days on site - 2 days remote

    Your Day-to-Day

    • Provide leadership and manage daily the supplier on all aspects of the supplier production:
      • ensuring As design/As build consistency and traceability
      • leading quality reviews (deviation/wavering process/Non Conformity) and coordinating the interfaces of all stakeholders involved in the supplier management (technical, procurement, material & processes)
      • change management
      • deliveries approval
      • Review production line/sub tiers capacity maturity and readiness, and take appropriate improvement actions
      • Assess production capacity and identify/drive with the supplier improvement plan when needed

      • Capacity
    • Supplier continuous improvement plan
      • review production stability Kcs and KPis (repeatability, capability, etc...)
    • Identify the possible gaps of capacity / capability
    • Propose improvement and support the developments required to meet the expected performance
    • Acquiring an in-depth knowledge of the equipment / supplier
    • Resolving conflicts within the project team and providing leadership and motivation to build the team into an effective unit.
    • Reporting to Head of Supplier Development Manager team
    • Position will be located in Merritt Island, Florida and requires 25-50% travel (domestic and international).

    Your Profile

    • MS Engineering degree (or equivalent), ideally in Electronics, Mechanical or Thermal
    • Knowledge of mass production constraints (in automotive, aeronautics...) would be a plus
    • Knowledge of APQP, LEAN methodology would be a plus
    • Knowledge of robust design tools would be a plus (DFMEA, 6 sigma, ...)

    Physical Demand
