Andy Stanley says to hire doers over thinkers. He doesn't say “only doers.” Both are needed. I value strategizing with people, ensuring team members are in the correct lanes, and accomplishing projects that serve the company or church's vision and mission! While some tasks are stand-alone, I believe every element contributes to the sustainability and longevity of employees and the business or church. 

Investing in employees is a strategic move for Lead Pastors and Business owners/managers. When employees are nurtured, and their potential is harnessed, they become more engaged and productive. This, in turn, leads to better service for customers or church attendees, enhancing the organization's overall success.

I have learned that experience with people and processes has been and continues to be a relevant form of education. I enjoy reading, podcasts, and seminars/conferences as long as I can apply what I learn. Asking questions and challenging the process with the goal of refinement and growth is a great teacher!
