    Accounts Payable Analyst

    About the firm- Accounts Payable Analyst:

    • CFS NY is working with one of the leading Private Schools in the country- they were founded over 150 years ago and service Kindergarten through High School Students
    • They encourage students of all backgrounds to flourish in creativity and help to prepare them for the future
    • The firm is a mission-based organization, with a 100% approval of the CEO by the employees
    • Very competitive base salary, strong benefits, over 6 weeks of paid time off that includes personal time, vacation, holidays, and two weeks where the school is closed for spring and winter break plus a cafeteria offering free breakfast and lunch.
    • This role will be inoffice full time, located on the Upper East Side with many bus and train lines going through there including the N,Q,R trains
    • Additional perks: Summer Fridays, 403b with a 10% match after 1 year of service

    Role Responsibilities- Accounts Payable Analyst:

    • Full cycle accounts payable functions- approximately transactions per week during school year, lower volume during holidays/summer
    • Interact with department leaders to explain AP processes, ensure coding is accurate
    • Ensure proper W9s are in place, assist with 1099 process
    • Assist with company credit card processing
    • Additional work can be provided in area of interest such as payroll, administrative functions, general accounting, etc

    Preferred Qualifications- Accounts Payable Analyst:

    • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable function
    • BA degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent discipline is preferred
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with Paymerang or Financial Edge a major plus
