Analyst, Development - New York, United States - Next Level Talent

Top national affordable housing developer is looking to add an Analyst to their NYC team.This role is in office 4 days / week. Competitive compensation and benefits package available.
Duties:
- Provide support for affordable housing acquisition, rehabilitation, and development initiatives in key markets across the US, including Section 8, LIHTC, and other programs.
- Review and maintain uptodate reporting containing weekly deal financial information, including development budgets, predevelopment budgets, and cash forecasts.
- Analyze various financial documents such as General Ledgers, Accounts Payable, rent rolls, income statements, and propertylevel reports.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings for assigned deals, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Document meeting minutes for all attended calls as directed by deal leads, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare monthly construction draws for review and approval by senior development staff, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Compile due diligence information, including financial, market, site, and regulatory data, to support decisionmaking processes.
- Assist in coordinating community meetings and navigating governmental approval processes to ensure project success.
- Support detailed analyses of project schedule delays, cost overruns, productivity, contracts, change orders, and other constructionrelated issues.
- Draft client communications for review by senior management, maintaining professionalism and clarity.
- Work closely with other members of the Development team on project tasks, providing support and contributing to overall project success.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field, Masters in Real Estate Development or similar degree strongly preferred
- Demonstrated achievement in relevant coursework such as development, finance, accounting, legal, urban planning.
- 2 years work experience in affordable housing real estate development.
- Exceptional research and writing abilities, and strong project management skills
- Strong computer skills, Intermediate to advance Excel Skills strongly preferred.
- Desire to contribute to the creation and preservation of affordable housing
Pay:
$85, $115,000.00 per year
