    Icon Concerts is seeking a stellar Marketing Manager to lead our growing touring business The ideal candidate is a highly organized and experienced live event marketer working cross-functionally on the planning and implementing marketing projects for tours. This candidate should have an enthusiasm for touring and experience in digital marketing.

    THE JOB

    The Marketing Manager will be responsible for multiple tasks that are essential to the success of Icon Concerts' marketing efforts, including the development and presentation of marketing plans, implementation of local marketing promotions, and management of multiple event advertising budgets for Icon Concerts Touring. As part of the Marketing Team, this position will report to the CEO of Icon Concerts.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage Icon Concerts' marketing team, which consists of two coordinators and one associate.
    • Plan, execute, and budget traditional advertising buys when applicable, including radio, OOH (out-of-home), and Television, including network and cable.
    • Act as a liaison between Icon booking, ticketing, and marketing teams.
    • Develop, execute, and oversee the flow of ad plans and digital assets for over 400 shows a year to drive ticket sales.
    • Approve final marketing plan campaigns and budgets for each show and monitor progression and spending.
    • Oversee the advertising settlement process with the booking team for each show before the event date.
    • Approve invoices and timely submissions on all advertising spend from Icon.
    • Partner with venue marketing teams for marketing plans and promotions to maximize show awareness on social media, emails, websites, OOH marketing, and in-venue opportunities.
    • Coordinate multiple teams of experts to successfully execute marketing campaigns that include, but are not limited to, advertising, content creation, and public relations.
    • Identify and activate new strategic marketing partners to enhance artist and venue exposure in the community.
    • Work and excel in Airtable, Dropbox, and various types of paid media dashboards for digital marketing, including Meta, TikTok, Google, and more.
    • Oversee workflow with designers and in-house Coordinators to create show and in-venue graphics, website banners, promotional posters, and social media creatives.
    • Understand Icon's clients and brands.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent.
    • 5+ years of previous experience in tour marketing and management.
    • Experience and expertise with media buying (including regional radio, television, OOH, print, etc.) and placing digital advertising across multiple paid platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc.).
    • Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • A creative, detail-oriented person who can juggle multiple highly analytical and creative tasks.
    • Confidence and ability to take the lead in group situations.
    • Positive attitude and flexibility in a high-pressure and deadline-driven environment.
    • Experience and ease working with agents, managers, and high-level executives.
    • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
    • Ability to work day, evening, and weekend hours based on the needs of daily business operations.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently.
    • Expertise in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), AirTable and DropBox.
    • Experience in communications, marketing, public relations and/or graphics design is a PLUS.
    • Proficiency in Photoshop and other Adobe Creative cloud applications is a PLUS.
