    Description
    Title: Application Support Engineer

    Location: San Antonio, TX

    Duration: Long Term

    Job Description:
    Creating or updating documentation in support of development efforts. Documents may include detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams or design documents.

    Participation in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate.

    Respond to trouble/support calls for applications in production in order to make quick repair to keep application in production.

    Leverage client DevOps tool stack to build, inspect, deploy in cloud platform, test and promote new or updated features.

    Ability to work in a strict SLA driven environment and be flexible to be on weekly on-call schedule.

    Required skills, knowledge, and abilities include:

    • Competent in distributed systems design and implementation. Experience with Object-Oriented Design and test-driven development.

    • Hands-On experience with database development using SQL

    • Knowledge of UNIX (Linux) environment and AWS Administration

    • Experience working in Agile environment and good communication skills

    • Working experience with:

    • Visual Basic, ASP, .Net framework , MS Access

    • MS Azure, ServiceNow

    • Oracle, SQL Server, SSRS Reporting

    • Toad, SQL Server Management Studio

    • ASPX (Active Server Page Extended Files)

    • Angular, VB Net

    Required Skills:
    • 5-8 years of experience in Visual Basic .NET
    • 5-8 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
    • 5-8 years of experience in ServiceNow
    • 3-5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Administration
    • 3-5 years of experience in Active Server Pages (ASP)
