- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement robust network solutions.
- Monitor and address issues in network performance, reliability, and security.
- Configure and deploy network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Ensure network infrastructure protection against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Manage firewall policies, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and other security tools.
- Perform security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Utilize monitoring tools to oversee network performance and uptime.

- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network issues.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in IT experience, with senior-level expertise.
- At least 3 years in a Tier II network engineering role, with proven abilities in network implementation and security.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, MPLS) and experience with hardware from Cisco, Fortinet, Sonicwall, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, Arista.
- Strong grasp of security principles and practices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
- Skilled in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools like Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective team collaboration.
- Keen attention to detail with strong analytical skills for resolving complex issues.
- Capable of handling multiple projects and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, MCSE, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with M365, 3CX, and MSP/MSSP environments is a plus.
