    Description
    smartdept. inc. is searching for a

    Business Analyst

    for a

    healthcare

    client. This is a fully

    remote, full-time, 9-month contract

    opportunity. The pay for this position is expected to be

    $67/hr - $77/hr

    depending on experience.

    What You'll Do:


    Formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding, combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.

    Develop or modify moderately-sized information systems. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic issues as necessary.
    Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
    Assist and advise less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.

    Utilize research and analysis, along with an understanding of relevant business systems and industry requirements, to define systems scopes and objectives for developing new, or improving existing, information systems.

    Perform business analysis, workflow analysis and optimization, work with users to define their needs and then document requirements.
    Collaborate with others to troubleshoot issues with existing systems.

    Remain current with business requirements and needs, based upon future industry trends and changes and understand the implications for existing technology.


    What You'll Need:
    Associate's Degree /Technical school or equivalent

    (Required)
    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

    (Preferred)
    2+ years of relevant experience in the field (Required)
    Experience formulating and defining systems scopes and objectives
    Experience in systems development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and design
    Participant in multiple phases of an integrated system implementation
    Background in a health care, sciences or information systems
