    We currently offer the following remote position, covering the {region} region. This role will consist of 50-70% travel within region, including overnight stays.

    Clinical Sales Specialist - Ophthalmology

    Come join a fantastic team The Clinical Sales Specialist (CSS) – Ophthalmology will provide technical sales support for all Medical products. Support will be provided to Leica's Medical customers, as well as to Independent Manufacturer's Representatives (IMRs) in all facets of their selling activities. This includes, but is not limited to, visiting reps and customers in the field, target account planning, development of strategies for opportunities, conducting product demonstrations, training field reps, participating in local and national exhibitions, handling inquiries, solving applications problems, and providing customer feedback.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure that customers are satisfied. Work with IMR teams, Sales Managers, Customer Service Product Management, R&D, Finance, and Manufacturing to attend to customers' needs.
    • Conduct technical product training and provide sales tools to help Leica sales reps become more effective in selling products. Perform and support product evaluations / demonstrations alongside IMR teams.
    • Work to promote the awareness, acceptance, and eventual the sale of Leica Medical products. Support the development and implementation of strategies to increase win rate and grow market share.
    • In conjunction with customers and reps, generate new product ideas and make recommendations to Product Management. Work with Sales Management, Product Management and R&D in conducting field evaluation tests to ensure the viability of new products. Support product launch initiatives at the local and national level.
    • Work with customers or other experts to generate appropriate field data and case studies which highlight product benefits and help differentiate Leica products.

    YOUR PROFILE

    • Bachelors' Degree
    • Sales experience in selling products of a technical nature preferred.
    • Minimum of two years microscopy experience is preferred; in-depth knowledge of the microscopy market is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge and experience in Ophthalmology & Surgery

    The base salary range for this role is $75,000-85,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for sales incentive pay up to $70,000 annually.

    We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
