    Description


    The Specialty Business Relationship Manager is responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with customers/MGUs, identifying customer needs and the needs of the operational team and Fortegra.

    The Specialty BRM will be directly involved in onboarding the clients/MGU's, managing the mapping and uploading of business from the BDX to Viper and on into IMS.

    They will handle the reconciliation, cash application and tracking of all business.

    The Specialty Business Relationship Manager works closely with the Specialty Operations Team, Underwriting Team and MGU.Process monthly data files into VIPER and IMS systemsTrack and report on all incoming files monthlyHandle customer interaction and work with customer/MGUMaintain Customer RelationshipsEnsure that the service provider continues to understand the needs of existing customers and establishes relationships with potential new customers.

    Identify Service RequirementsUnderstand and document the desired outcome of a service, and decide if the customer's need can be fulfilled using an existing service offering or if a new or changed service must be created.

    Set up Customers to Standard Services or modify as requiredCapture customer requirements and agree upon service level targets with customers who request the provision of existing standard services (no modifications to existing Supporting Services are necessary in order to fulfill the customer's needs).Handle Customer ComplaintsRecord customer complaints and compliments; assess the complaints and instigate corrective action if required.

    QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experienceSpecialty product knowledge preferred7-9 years experience engaging Business stakeholders regarding Client initiativesITIL and/or Specialist Certificate in Business Relationship Management preferredStrong organizational skillsRequires some knowledge of a specialized function or skill.

    Developing real trade craft and skills7 years minimum of relevant work experience required as a Business Relationship ManagerComprehensive understanding of administrative operations, information systems, business processes and capabilitiesExperience managing projects with structured governance and reportingExperience shaping business partner demandAbility to partner with all levels of personnelStrong verbal communications and negotiation capabilitiesExcellent formal written communications skillsSuperb attention to detailGood analytical and technical skills in related fieldAdditional informationFull benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life, company paid short/long term disability, 401(k), tuition assistance and more.
