    The Portland Water Bureau is seeking an Engineer III in the Material Standard and Specifications section of the Engineering Services Group.

    Do you have experience in specifications for a variety of project types?

    If your answers are yes, you may be the Engineer III we are seeking.

    The Engineer III position is a first level supervisor at the Water Bureau who has direct interaction with supervised staff as well as overseeing capital work portfolios.

    The Engineer III position in the Material Standards and Specifications Engineering Section leads a staff who work with project managers to develop project specifications and standards for a variety of project types.

    This position also works with other Bureaus to update the City's standard construction specifications.

    This position leads a group that responds to a wide variety of types of projects, has the opportunity for innovation and problem solving, and interacts directly with Water Bureau staff across groups.

    This position plays key roles leading within the Engineering Design Section.

    There is opportunity for interesting and challenging work and in helping to develop and evolve the culture and direction of the section.
