- Enforcing all company policies and plant rules, to include conducting investigations, maintaining corrective action procedures, and ensuring accurate administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and grievance procedures.
- Managing the full cycle recruiting and onboarding efforts for hourly roles.
- Managing the payroll process and attendance tracking for hourly employees.
- Partnering closely with the HR Manager and management team to support functional priorities and reporting out Key Performance Indicators for the HR function.
- Demonstrating tact and diplomacy and maintaining discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee issues and data.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting a Human Resources function
- Strong knowledge of and experience in HR Information Systems such as Workday and Dimensions
- Strong communication skills at all levels of management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (especially food manufacturing) or working in a union environment is a plus
