+ Analyze performance bottlenecks in games and professional graphics applications. + Come up with ideas for optimizations and discuss with others in graphics driver, shader compiler, GPU memory management, performance tool and infrastructure, and hardware teams. + Develop performance optimizations in graphics driver and work with other teams to improve respective components. Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or a Master's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent relevant field with over 6+ experience with strong C++ programming skills and experience in coding for execution efficiency.
3+ years of experience in one or more of the following:+ System performance, CPU-GPU parallelism, bottlenecks and underline hardware architecture + GPU performance architecture such as SIMD, waves, registers, cache, and optimization techniques + Graphics pipeline stages such as geometry, rasterization, pixel and common performance issues and solutions 3+ years of experience in graphics driver performance optimizations involving one or more of the following: + GPU programming and shader optimizations in HLSL, GLSL, SPIR-V, DXIL, DXBC or similar + Graphics API such as DX12, DX11, DXVK, Vulkan, OpenGL or similar + Driver optimizations, CPU multi-threading, CPU-GPU parallelism, resource management optimizations and etc.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $156,410.00-$250,410.00 Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience Working Model This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
