- Collaborate with Design Engineering to execute pre-silicon simulations to verify test strategies
- Offer insights to Design Engineering, Test Solutions Engineering, and other Product Engineering teams
- Aid in finalizing the pre-silicon checklist and collaborate with manufacturing teams to outline necessary tester resources
- Work alongside Test Solutions Engineering and the PE product groups to adapt programs for specific product prerequisites or constraints to ensure silicon performance aligns with expectations
- Assist Test Solutions Engineering by contributing to test program debugging, data analysis, and test enhancement
- Support Fabrication sites and Process Integration through test development to enhance process feedback efficiency
- Pinpoint and troubleshoot root causes for failures utilizing data, electrical, and physical analysis techniques
- Leverage these techniques to refine existing testing strategies for enhanced quality and yield improvement
- Monitor yields to verify they meet forecasts and promptly investigate root causes of discrepancies
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Marketing by crafting and delivering presentations, participating in meetings with Fab, Design, and other teams
- Deliver technical training and expertise, which encompasses on-the-job training for new engineers, aiding in data interpretation, acting as a product-specific contact point, and attending technical seminars
- Support critical Micron endeavors through high-value-added project assistance
- Enhance our global team through constructive feedback
- Assist the local team by developing tools that streamline processes
- Innovate novel, optimized test strategies and features
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering (Master's Degree preferred)
- Hardware background is essential
- Experience in DRAM and other memory testing
- Proficiency in Logic IC, ASIC, or processor testing
- Knowledge of ATE and at-speed interface and system testing
- Familiarity with scan chain and loopback testing
- Experience with Built-In Self-Test (BIST)-based testing
- Exposure to RTL design tools and workflow
- Understanding of semiconductor fabrication process, defectivity and marginality, and degradation mechanisms

As a Product Engineer within the High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Media Health (MH) team (also referred to as DFT, Design for Testing), you will collaborate with Product Leads, Design, and Test Solutions Engineering to create, implement, fine-tune, and innovate test strategies for Micron's HBM products. Serving as a pivotal link between various engineering factions and specializations, you will capitalize on a diverse array of expertise to forge new and enhanced test strategies, features, and technologies.
You will possess or cultivate proficiency in Probe, Burn, and/or ATE test code and testing methods utilized to validate and ensure device functionality. You will contribute to code debugging and support other experts in characterizing relevant HBM devices. In this capacity, your additional duties will encompass a comprehensive comprehension of general device function tailored to HBM products, along with schematics and signal integrity.
