Production Engineer Responsibilities: 1. Participate in the design, implementation and ongoing management of major site applications and subsystems. 2.
Own back-end services like Hadoop data warehouses, front-end services like Messenger and Newsfeed, infrastructure components like Memcache infrastructure, and everything in between.
3.Write and review code, develop documentation and capacity plans, and debug difficult problems live, on some of the largest and most complex systems in the world.

Apache, memcached, Squid, MySQL, NFS, DHCP, NTP, SSH, DNS, or SNMP 13. Working on large-scale internet service architectures: load balancing, LAMP, or CDN's 14. Troubleshooting, including diagnosing low-level hardware issues to large scale failures within datacenter clusters 15. Building large, highly-scalable performant solutions 16. Software development in a Unix environment or data processing environment 17. Linking core web technologies system design and configuration to form an end-to-end solution.
