    Job Summary:
    As the HR Director at Burlington Automotive, you will play a pivotal role in driving our

    organizational culture, fostering employee engagement, recruitment, managing employee

    benefits, training an development, compensation, and ensuring compliance with

    employment laws and regulations. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you

    will have the opportunity to shape HR strategies, policies, and programs that support our

    mission and values.

    The HR Director is responsible for developing and implementing human resource

    strategies aligned with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.

    This role will focus on areas such as succession planning, talent management, change

    management, organizational and performance management, training and development,

    and compensation.

    The HR Director provides leadership by effectively communicating HR needs and plans to

    the executive management team, shareholders, and the board of directors.

    Essential Functions


    • Develop and execute HR initiatives that align with and support the company's
    mission and strategic vision.


    • Formulate HR plans and strategies to contribute to the achievement of overall
    business objectives.


    • Centralize the HR function across all Burlington Auto stores, serving as the primary
    point of contact for all HR-related matters.


    • Act as a strategic business advisor to executive/senior management and store
    leadership on key organizational and management issues within each business unit

    or specialty group.


    • Collaborate with executive management and store leadership to establish a robust
    plan for management succession aligned with the company's strategy and

    objectives.


    • Create and implement a centralized and strategic recruiting and retention plans to
    meet human capital needs and support strategic goals.


    • Develop and implement competitive and cost-effective compensation and benefits
    plans for the company.


    • Provide leadership and guidance to the HR function, overseeing talent acquisition,
    career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership

    development, and global compensation and benefits.


    • Identify, deploy, and manage a high-performing team to achieve business
    objectives.

    Foster a positive work environment by:
    a. Hiring exceptional talent

    b. Aligning individual and team objectives with department and company

    objectives

    c. Managing and supporting employee development and growth

    d. Providing regular and direct feedback on performance and goal progress.


    Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field,

    Master's Degree preferred.

    Minimum of ten years of progressive HR experience. The ideal candidate will have

    experience in automotive dealership industry.

    SPHR or SHRM-CP or SCP Certification preferred.

    Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with demonstrated

    experience ensuring compliance.

    Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to build and develop high-performing

    teams.

    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

    Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office applications.
