- Miller Dedicated Services - Supports customers in outsourcing their transportation needs by providing vehicles, drivers, fuel, insurance, and overall industry expertise.
- Miller Brokerage Services - Provides on-demand capacity solutions through our network of reliable carriers.
- Develop, plan, and lead all HR activities.
- Advise senior leaders on solutions for human resources challenges and other organizational needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on federal and state employment regulations.
- Facilitate processes and regularly report on key HR metrics.
- Oversee the employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Lead the communication and administration of the company's health and welfare benefits programs; evaluate the current programs to ensure competitiveness with other organizations.
- Collaborate with managers and leaders to assess training and development needs; oversee the relationship with vendors on outside training programs.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Human Resource Management.
- Experience with field personnel, ideally in the transportation, distribution, warehousing, or similar industries preferred.
- ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
