    Description

    Job Summary:


    The Corporate Development Manager is responsible for the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of M&A opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and divestitures, as well as shaping Constellium's M&A strategy.


    Job Responsibilities:
    Define and continuously assess Constellium's M&A strategy and priorities, as well as prepare supporting analysis
    Identify and execute M&A projects, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and divestitures
    Manage the M&A process from end-to-end, from opportunity origination to transaction structuring and negotiation, to post-merger integration planning and execution
    Prepare and present regular and ad-hoc presentation materials to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors
    Maintain relationships with investment banks
    Support other Corporate Strategy projects, as time permits
    Willingness to travel (up to 20% depending on current projects)


    Specific Competencies:
    Ability to lead M&A processes from end-to-end, including sourcing, initial evaluation, detailed diligence, transaction structuring, negotiations, closing and integration planning
    Financial modeling and valuation
    Strong analytical background and attention to detail
    Project management
    Strong presentation skills and Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint and Excel)
    Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in international and multicultural environment, or ability to adapt to such environment


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent required
    6-8 years' total experience in finance or strategy-based roles, including 2+ years of investment banking or consulting experience required
    Experience in private equity or similar role is preferred, but not required
    Fluency in English is required
    French and/or German language skills are preferred, but not required
