The Job:

As a Workday Product Development Manager, you'll be part of our Global HRIS team, reporting to the Director of Workday Product Development working as a virtual employee


You'll get to:

  • Perform analysis on configuration, business processes, existing and new functionality. Expert in the Workday Ecosystem with multimodule experience such as Recruiting, Onboarding, HCM, Security, Reporting, etc.
  • Operate as a designer of both business process and technical requirements and can ensure implemented solutions deliver incredible experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR and business processes through Workday automation and efficiencies. Proactively partners with functional leads, technical leads and COE team(s) to gather business requirements, propose, and implement improvements as needed.
  • Drives strategic prioritization of the functional vision in close collaboration with functional leads, process owners, technical leads and COE leaders.
  • Research and understand industry standards, trends, and best practices to proactively build technology roadmap for the next 5 years, in conjunction with COE leaders and functional leads.
  • Contribute to large crossfunctional initiatives and implementations that enable us to build outstanding experiences for our most important asset our team members
- to help us achieve our goal of accelerating Workday's business growth.

  • Collaborate closely with product design, architects, and business partners to discover the most impactful solutions, and then work together to deliver those solutions.
  • Evaluate existing modules to determine usage and leverage existing functionality to innovate HR processes.
  • Support, iterate, and test functionality and processes in Workday in partnership with your Pod team and crossfunctional stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with product owners, configuration owners and/or other training stakeholders to create proof of concepts and/or development programs as required. Assist with driving adoption, communication, and change management.

You also have:

  • Min 5+ years of Workday Implementation experience required; 7 years HRIS experience required, particular focus on Recruiting, Onboarding, & HCM.
  • Experience in other HRIS platforms (i.e. CRMs, ATS, Service Now, SFDC, etc.) a plus.
  • Experience as a Workday HRIS Administrator.
  • Experience in Workday Implementation, Configuration & Training; Workday certifications highly preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with a crossfunctional team to coordinate multiple complicated projects.
  • Ability to influence teammates and key stakeholders through use of data and logic.
  • Strong familiarity and usage of agile philosophy and framework.
  • Must have change management & release management experience.
  • Communication strategy design, plan creation and execution experience
  • Fluent English, strong communication and influencing skills, with ability to communicate complex information to multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to change plans to meet priorities and think out of the box to meet needs effectively.
  • Someone who understands that consistent innovation is the result of each member of the team contributing their ideas
