    As the Senior Director of Product of Vanta's Platform teams, you will define and deliver the platform for all of Vanta's products, enterprise readiness & capabilities, automation for continuous security, and our self-serve business.

    Each of these areas is core to Vanta's current and future success. You will drive major company-wide initiatives that require deep partnerships within the company and with our integration partners.

    You will partner with engineering and design to deliver capabilities that enable Vanta to scale with our rapidly growing customers and overall customer base.

    In addition, you'll contribute to the definition of Vanta's product team culture and processes, while growing each PM on your team.

    This role will report directly to the Chief Product Officer.
    What you'll do as a Senior Director of Product at Vanta:
    Lead and grow a team of Product Managers to define and deliver Vanta's platform capabilities and experience to scale and meet the needs of our largest enterprise customers

    Define and deliver Vanta's automation strategy to continue to provide the most comprehensive suite of continuous security tests

    Define and deliver Vanta's strategy to increase time to value, activation, and retention in partnership with Vanta's go-to-market teams

    Be the DRI for a number of key business metrics, including:
    Activation and customer journey success

    Continuous security monitoring breadth and depth that meets the needs of customers and partners

    Customizable security monitoring that scales from no-code to a full API

    Scale and performance of Vanta for our largest customers

    Delightful and efficient remediation experience

    Enterprise readiness

    How to be successful in this role:12+ years experience in product management related roles in a high growth and complex environment

    5+ years of experience hiring, managing, growing, and leading high performing teams

    Enterprise and passion for scaling B2B SaaS platforms that have grown their customer base from SMB to Enterprise

    A strong track record of setting product vision and business strategy for complex product areas and platforms tied to company level goals and metrics

    Embrace a constantly evolving landscape and company, while driving impact across your team and the broader organization

    Passion for building high quality products and driving that culture across the organization

    Deep knowledge of data and the relevant business metrics of retention and growth

    Is a strong decision maker who effectively balances ambiguity, available data, speed, and iteration

    Past experience working on security products

    To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state.

    We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies.

    Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

    The base pay range for this position is $276,000 - $325,000. This role may also be eligible for commissions/bonus, equity, medical benefits, 401(k) plan, and other company perk programs.

    About Vanta

    We started Vanta in 2016 as Equifax had lost every American's social security number, Home Depot had leaked its customers' credit card numbers to hackers, and Facebook admitted that it irresponsibly sent user data to third parties who tried to influence the US election.

    It was clear that security and privacy had become mainstream issues, and that we all increasingly relied on cloud services to store everything from our personal photos to our communications at work.

    Vanta's mission is to be the layer of trust on top of these services, and to secure the internet, increase trust in software companies, and keep consumer data safe.

    We do this by building an automated head of security for technology companies, and we use that system to both help a company secure itself and to prove their security to others.

    If we succeed in our mission, it should feel irresponsible for users to put data into a product that isn't certified by Vanta, and irresponsible for companies to collect data without using Vanta to secure and monitor themselves.
