    Overview of Position:

    The Sr. Operations Associate will play a significant role in driving operational excellence ensuring that processes are efficient and aligned with the department's strategic objectives. This role will work closely with and report to the Operations Manager ensuring a smooth flow of product transition between the warehouses and the corporate office as it relates to all fruit commodities. Strong attention to detail is a must

    Job Specifications

    • Coordinate the production and packaging process with distribution centers.
    • Correspond with the Company's Global Team regarding exporter information
    • Create exporter reports and communicate with them regarding pertinent information
    • Monitor all electronic communications for revisions, cancellations, or updates as it relates to orders.
    • Organize and maintain inventories across all storage facilities.
    • Assist in the allocation process of all commodities
    • Prepare and submit work orders and releases to the Warehouse and/or outside facilities.
    • Liaison with the Sales department regarding product availability.
    • Organize information and inspection reports from the Quality Control team efficiently and in detail.
    • Manage various operational projects as they arise
    • Domestic travel is required as needed

    • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
    • Great attention to details
    • Analytical skills to sift through a high volume of data and information
    • Proficiency in Google Docs and Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to multitask and efficient time management
    • Highly organized
    • Ability to work well under pressure
    • Team player, flexible, and desire to succeed through hard work

    Experience and Education

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain/Operations Management, or equivalent work experience
    • 2-3 years prior experience in a similar role.
    • Experience or working knowledge in the produce industry is preferred but not required
