Operations Associate

WHO WE ARE
Central Queens Academy (CQA) is an award-winning, high-performing, free, public charter school which opened in 2012. Currently we serve approximately 400 middle school scholars in grades 5-8 and 400 elementary school scholars in grades K-3.

We will grow our elementary school and add one new grade each year until 2024 when we will serve all grades K-8.

CQA was founded to serve the families in District 24, specifically those who live in and around the multiethnic, multicultural, and multilingual communities of Elmhurst, Corona and Woodside.

Our scholars and their families hail from over 30 different nations and speak over 20 different languages at home. More than 80% of our scholars would be the first in their families to attend college.
