    Hexcel is currently seeking an Office Manager/Receptionist (Temporary to Permanent Hire) for our Corporate Headquarters in Stamford, CT. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous administrative professional experienced in reception and office management. Outgoing and service-oriented, this pro-active "go-to" person will anticipate and meet the needs of a dynamic office and have the poise to represent Hexcel with discretion while interacting with all levels of individuals.

    The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

    • Answer and screen calls, routing callers to appropriate departments/individuals
    • Greet and direct Hexcel visitors, and coordinate their arrival with building security; make transportation arrangements, as necessary
    • Inventory, order, receive, stock, organize, and distribute office and kitchen supplies; maintain supply areas and administer archival storage
    • Arrange repairs, cleaning, and maintenance of office space and equipment and manage storage within the office space and other off-site storage (archives)
    • Assist with coordination of office construction and renovation projects; office moves and new hire workspace set-up
    • Coordinate review, approval, and payment of office vendor invoices
    • Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail, route publications and coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail, and coordinate package services
    • Use knowledge of company and building policies and procedures related to safety, security, emergency planning/evacuation to act as the initial point of contact for issues and requests
    • Administer monthly commuter reimbursement program
    • Perform additional administrative projects and tasks as assigned
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of five years of relevant work experience
    • A pro-active individual with strong organizational skills and a resourceful attitude
    • Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills
    • Professional appearance and punctuality, with the ability to work 8:00 am -4:00 pm
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
    • High School diploma or GED
    • Ability to lift 30lbs
