    Role

    As the Director of Product Management, you will spearhead the strategic expansion of our sensor product line. This leadership role demands a hands-on approach to team development, strategic planning, and roadmap execution. Your vision will directly shape the product's trajectory, requiring an entrepreneurial mindset to build and scale the team effectively. You'll engage deeply in crafting and implementing go-to-market strategies, forging robust partnerships to ensure the product's success in a dynamic cybersecurity landscape..

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and expand the product management team, fostering a culture of innovation and alignment with our ambitious growth objectives.
    • Gain a deep understanding of the cybersecurity sector, focusing on market demands, competitor strategies, and evolving industry trends to guide strategic decisions.
    • Lead product discovery and validation through various methodologies, such as rapid prototyping, A/B testing, and user story mapping.
    • Craft and execute monetization strategies that bolster product appeal and accelerate revenue growth.
    • Manage the product roadmap, turning market needs and customer feedback into actionable development priorities.
    • Serve as a key thought leader, enhancing our team's capabilities by sharing insights, trends, and best practices in cybersecurity product management.
    • Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and other departments to create a unified product vision and strategy that delivers exceptional value to our customers.
    • Utilize analytics and data insights to drive product decisions and communicate complex concepts effectively across all levels of the organization.
    • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring seamless progress from concept to launch.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is often preferred.
    • 5-10 years in product management for enterprise cybersecurity products, NGFW, EDR/NDR, and other adjacent technologies.
    • Experience working in a platform company where you have built/grown an product line
    • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, network security, and the current threat landscape.
    • Familiarity with product development in enterprise software.

    Leadership:

    • 5+ years experience in management roles, leading cross-functional teams, and driving product vision and go-to-market strategies.
    • Experience with stakeholder management, including working with executive leadership, engineering teams, sales, marketing, and customers.

    Strategic Thinking:

    • Proven track record of leading and managing comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps.
    • Ability to define and articulate product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives.
    • Experience with market analysis, competitive analysis, and strategic planning.
    • A strong customer orientation with experience engaging with users, gathering feedback, and integrating it into product development.

    Communication:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues to a variety of audiences.
    • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.

    Notice of Pay Transparency:
    The compensation for this position ranges from $239,000 - $321,000/year and may vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. Depending on the nature and seniority of the role, a percentage of compensation may come in the form of a commission-based or discretionary bonus. Equity and additional benefits will also be awarded.
