Mission Prep is looking for Community Coordinators to provide superior care for our adolescent clients at our Residential Mental Health facility in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.

Mission Prep is AMFM Healthcare's residential program tailored for the healthcare of the adolescent population (ages suffering from mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses.
We count on our Community Coordinators to compassionately support and mentor our clients throughout their treatment program. We are seeking those who are passionate to help those in need and provide hope.

Because our clients have varying mental health diagnoses and behavioral disorders, adequate training will be provided to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care that we can provide.

You will join and support a network of trained case managers, therapists, nurses, and psychiatrists who are helping us on our mission to help individuals with mental health disorders achieve a life of meaning and wellness.

Mission Prep aims to provide support and sustainable change for adolescents and families who are challenged by primary mental health struggles.

We firmly believe in treating the entire family system and allowing families to address the challenges of their children in a safe, sustainable way.

At Mission Prep we are committed to preparing teens for the challenges of life and giving families the fresh start they need at our teen mental health treatment.

We create a sustainable experience that can be built upon long after the youth discharges from Mission Prep

Shift Schedules Needed:
Evening/Swing Shift - 2:30pm-11:00pm.
Flexibility to work at least one day over the weekend preferred.
Must have at least a Bachelor's degree or 2+ years work experience in a related field.

Rigorously adheres to all Joint Commission policies and procedures, including Waived Testing, Infection Prevention and Control, as well as Emergency Management and Environment of Care procedures.

Proficiently navigate and utilize the BestNotes electronic health record system to document client activities effectively.

Collaborate with the program nurse and clinical team regarding medication management, and monitor and report client behavior with medication side effects.

Monitor and document client self-administration medications while coaching clients in self-management and documenting medications in accordance with the organization's policy on medication use.

Facilitate recovery and clinically indicated activities and groups according to organization policy and document into the electronic health record.

Conduct observation rounds, as needed to ensure client safety, and document client behavior and participation in treatment. Assist with intakes and discharges of clients according to AMFM Healthcare's policies and procedures.
Conduct orientation to new residents, including reviewing safety drills, exit routes, evacuation procedures, and first-aid kits.
Preferred- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or any closely related field.

Successful completion of Criminal Background Check through a CDSS/DOJ Bureau of Criminal Information & Analysis LiveScan, and ADP Selective Services Screening.
